Tarheel Burger

Another one of my great favorites from 2 Guys Grille.  If you ever visit this spot and want a burger, this is it.  The original meal as listed from the menu is this:

Topped w/ American Cheese, spicy mustard, red onions, chili, and slaw

I remix it a little bit by doing the following:

– removing the red onions and slaw

– adding jalapenos, sauerkraut

The combination of the chilli and sauerkraut may be a surprise but let me tell you, it’s an awesome combination.  The jalapenos give the burger an extra punch.  Combine it with the 2 Guys Grille signature sweet potato fries for a great meal.

If you try this, let me know what you think.  Definitely head over to the 2 guys grille Menu  or the Official 2 Guys Grille Facebook Page and let them know what you think.  If you can be so gracious, please leave a hashtag #jamileats at the end of your comments to let them know how you found out about them. 🙂

Spicy Chorizo Burger

chorizoburger-feature

I really can’t say I know a place without at least exploring a handful of items. This pick was my first try off the new Buffalo Wings & Rings Menu. I have a huge fan of chorizo, recently introduced by my big sister Diara when visiting San Rafeal. It’s really hard for me not to modify a meal in some way, but this one I just left alone. It was perfect.

It was accompanied by their flagship “Parmesan Garlic Aioli French Fries”. #StayHungryMyFriends

Spinach Philly Cheesesteak Salad

Spinach Philly CheeseSteak Salad

The places I love are the places I love. I often frequent them very often especially when I find something I absolutely love. You will see me posting a great deal from this restaurant: 2 Guys Grille.

It is located off Davis Drive in the McCrimmon Shopping Center over in Morrisville. This one is a stable favorite for me.

The original menu item calls for a bed of Romaine and Iceberg lettuce. I tend to vary more to Mixed Greens or Spinach. So I tried it one day and it was great. They basically take the Philly Cheesesteak ( for which they are really known for ) out of the hoagie and put it on a bed of lettuce or in my case Spinach!!!

Just check the picture out above. Perfect presentation, layer on some Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing and BAM! Prepare for taste bud pleasure. #StayHungryMyFriends
